My husband stole my bank card to fund a getaway with his mistress, but when they reached the airport, the officer’s icy words left them both speechless…

Carlos and I had been married for seven years and were raising a little boy. From the beginning of our marriage, I always thought that my husband was a calm, diligent, and dependable person. Carlos worked in an office, while I ran an online shop that earned steadily. Each month, we deposited money into a shared account for household costs. But since my business brought in more, the debit card was mostly under my name. Carlos had the password, though I never thought he would someday misuse it.

Recently, Carlos had changed a lot.

He often came home late, always explaining it was because of overtime or client dinners. He kept his phone with him constantly and refused to let anyone touch it. My doubts deepened, but I lacked proof.

One evening, while he was showering, his phone buzzed on the table. I unintentionally stared at a message: “Don’t forget your passport! Tomorrow we’re off on vacation. I can’t wait!” My chest tightened. With shaking hands, I opened the chat and saw that he’d already bought tickets and booked a fancy resort… everything charged to my card.

I laughed bitterly. So all my hard-earned money, the sleepless nights I endured to secure our future, was being drained by him to spoil another woman.

That night, I lay awake, considering how to expose him. I didn’t want drama at home that would scar our son, but I also couldn’t let him and his mistress waste what I had built. Finally, I devised a flawless plan.

Meanwhile, I clandestinely phoned a close friend who worked at the airport, asking her to check his flight. Not long after, she announced: Carlos had purchased two tickets to Cancún, scheduled to depart at noon.

I decided to go there. I didn’t intend to create a scene, only to see it with my own eyes so there would be no denial later.

Just as I predicted, I noticed him arriving hand in hand with a stylish young woman, both glowing as though they were truly married. My fists tightened, fighting back rage.
